Course: History / Science Grades 1&2

The first and second grade history/science class is a weekly, hour long class that covers both subjects.  

For the science portion of class, we will loosely follow topics from the Answers in Genesis science curriculum used in 3^rd – 6^th grades.  In class, we will learn science basics and vocabulary through experiments or games.

If you would like to purchase books, we will follow some topics in the following texts: Properties of Ecosystems, Our Universe, The Human Body, and Inventions and Technology.

Any edition is fine and again, purchase of the books is optional.  Links to educational resources for each subject will be provided.  

For history, we will study American History.  No text is required. I’ll send out an optional reading list of library books.
