1. Where do we meet for classes?
Classes are held at Graceland Baptist Church, 3600 Kamer Miller Rd, New Albany, IN 47150
2. For what grades do you offer classes?
Classes are available for 1st-12th grade. (Elementary school is 1st-6th grade. Upper school is 7th-12th grade.) In addition, we offer a limited amount of pre-K & Kindergarten classes which are reserved for the younger siblings of students enrolled in 1st-12th grade classes.
3. Do parents have to stay on campus while a students is taking classes?
For students in 1st-6th grade, a parent is required to be on campus at all times. The parent is also
expected to attend core classes in order to be familiar with material covered and to understand and assist
with assignments. The parent is encouraged to attend elective classes as well.
4. How do we apply to be a part of Cornerstone?
We are no longer accepting new families for the 2026-2027 school year. For the 2027-2028 school year, please return to our website at the beginning of Februray to fill out the application.
5. May I register my student for just one class?
You may register your student for any number of classes; however, students should be aware that in many classes there are assignments to be completed outside of class each week.
6. As a new family, is my student guaranteed a spot in a class?
We can not guarantee a place in a class. Our registration for classes is a tiered system, so families who have been with us a long time get to register first. There will be openings in some of our classes; we just can’t guarantee which ones.
7. Do instructors give grades?
All upper school instructors give grades.
8. What do upper school students do if they have an open period in their schedules and their guardian is not present?
Students are required to be either in a class or in study hall. There is a fee for study hall.
