About the Course
 Career Decision Making (Fall 24)

The goal of this course is to help students identify possible career paths after high school. All options are considered. Students take several assessments and complete homework exercises to discover which careers best fit their personality, interests, values, learning style, and skills. They compile a list of careers which they research. Once their choices are narrowed down to two, they interview someone in each field and job shadow. Students also research different schools and training options. Should they decide to go to college, they will look at posible majors.

We also cover resume writing, interviewing, networking, and etiquette. Students create a career path, gain a better understanding of the process,  and look at what they need to consider in the future.
