About the Course
 4 & 5 Year Olds

The 4 & 5 year-old class is a weekly, 1 hour-long class with a focus on learning through play. Some of the topics might be new to your child while some a review. Either way, we’ll have fun learning, growing, and reviewing together!

Some fun things we’ll be doing:

  • Fall & Spring Scavenger Hunts
  • Show & tell days
  • Building and designing with Build a Fort, Lincoln Logs, and Legos
  • Play games day
  • Arts & crafts day

Some things we’ll be introducing, learning or reviewing consistently:

  • The alphabet
  • Sign the alphabet
  • Spell, sign, and write their name
  • Learn about the seasons
  • The days of the week in English and Spanish (to a song)
  • The names of the months
  • Numbers & counting

Each day we’ll have a gluten free snack. Everyone please bring water bottle.

Gencie

Gencie Todd is wife to Brandon and mom and homeschool teacher to four children, ages 3 to 12. They live in Georgetown, Indiana with their 13 chickens, 2 hamsters, a bird and a goldfish. Gencie graduated from Campbellsville University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She and her family love serving in their local church. Gencie has been homeschooling for six years and enjoys learning along with her children.
