About the Course
World Geography

In World Geography, students will have fun learning about different places and people all around the world.  Students will be given an overview of the continents and oceans, and will learn to identify major countries, cities and landmarks around the world.  More details about the curriculum are coming soon.

The students will read four biographies about famous Americans from the Christian Heroes: Then & Now series by Janet & Geoff Benge (YWAM Publishing): George Muller, Nate Saint, Amy Carmichael, and Brother Andrew. Written and oral reports will be completed for each book. Grades will be given for the assignments, but for the 6th grade students some assignments will be optional or abbreviated. This will be a great class to help 6th grade students transition into upper school classes.
