Expectations and Homework
Students should practice what they have learned in class. Once students begin working on projects, they may be assigned homework to complete a certain amount of the project before the class.

About the Course
Crochet 101

In this class, students will learn about hook and yarn sizes, proper hook techniques, how to read a pattern, how to crochet various stitches, and more! Students will also begin woring on projects to put their techniques to use. This class will have students hooked from the start!..pun intended ;)

Hi! My name is Alayna Embry and I am so excited to continue teaching at Cornerstone! I recently graduated from Cornerstone and the cosmetology course at Prosser Career Education Center and am now a licensed cosmetologist.

I have been twirling baton for 11 years and crocheting for 9 years. I am very excited to continue sharing these skills with students!

In my free time, I enjoy riding horses, playing + listening to music, reading, baton twirling, dancing, crocheting, and being outside.
