About the Course
Choir is the best introduction to healthy singing skills! The Cornerstone Beginner Choir is our training choir. In this choir we focus on learning basic singing skills such as breathing, matching pitch, resonance, diction, and beginning harmony. Repertoire includes fun rounds, folk songs, patriotic songs, Christian songs, and a bit of classical. We have two concerts a year- one in December and one in May. Anyone can join this choir!
Young men with changed voices should join the Cornerstone Intermediate Choir.
Cost includes a $15 music and accompanist fee.

About Debbie
Hi! I'm Debbie Griffin and I love all things music! I graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.S. in K-12 Music Education with a focus on general music, choral music, and piano pedagogy. I also did post-graduate studies at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where I met my husband Rick, who is a pastor. I've taught music in various capacities over the years, including piano, voice, general music and choirs in public and private schools, and I've directed both school and church productions. I really enjoy accompanying and assisting with worship. I'm a 25-year veteran homeschool mom of five children, all of whom have graduated, so I cheer on all of you homeschool moms!
