About Amber
I hope to get to know each and every one of you reading this, but for now, here is a little about myself. I have a wonderful husband named Josh and six beautiful daughters.. The University of Louisville is where my faith became real, I met my wonderful husband, and I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Learning Behavior Disorders. I earned my master's degree in School Counseling through Western Kentucky University. I taught and coached various sports for five years at Meade County High School in Kentucky before I finally followed the tugging on my heart to stay home with my girls. To be honest, homeschooling was never the plan, but, oh how happy I am that God has brought me down this road. What a faith building and fulfilling time the last eight years have been.
I have taught PE at Cornerstone for four years, and I have loved every minute of it. Sports have always been a passion of mine, and I hope I can pass on a bit of that love to my students! Growing up, I played a variety of sports for my local school system. While at UofL, I also participated in many intramural sports. My love for sports continues to this day, and often you can find my husband and I on a date night playing an intense game of horse or pickle-ball at our local YMCA.
I am really looking forward to getting to know each of you and your kiddos. Feel free to send me an email if you have any questions.
